I am a social science researcher in the Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research at Cornell University.

My examines how marginalized communities organize and mobilize to confront sexual and behavioral health inequities — while developing innovative health promotion strategies to keep each other safe.

I document the stories of grassroots health activists and health advocacy groups, particularly focused on capturing the voices of LGBTQ people who confronted the early HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Hand-in-hand with this work, I partner with organizations across New York to co-design and evaluate programs related to behavioral health and community empowerment. This includes connecting young community members with participatory action research skills, encouraging them to ask questions about health and the social world.

I earned my Master of Social Work and B.A. (Hons) from Binghamton University. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York.
