I am a social science researcher in the Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research at Cornell University.

My work centers on past and present examples of grassroots health activism and advocacy, as well as community-based, participatory approaches to sexual health promotion for young LGBTQ people.

I document the stories of health advocacy groups who confronted the early HIV/AIDS epidemic, connecting contemporary queer people with community-led prevention strategies from the height of the crisis.

Hand-in-hand with this work, I partner with organizations across New York State to co-design and evaluate programs related to community health and youth empowerment. This includes connecting young people with participatory action research skills, encouraging them to develop strategies for keeping their communities safe.

I completed my undergraduate and Master of Social Work training at Binghamton University. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York.
